Defibrillator for Hoton
The defibrillator has now been installed and is now live with East Midlands Ambulance Service. Approximately 30 people attended the launch event and received training in CPR and how the defibrillator works. Thank you to everyone who has been involved and donated funds to enable this to happen; a fantastic £1660 was raised, most of which has been spent on the defibrillator, housing unit and signage, with the remaining £560 being transferred to the Parish Council; this will be ring-fenced for ongoing expenses, such as replacement pads and batteries.
